Small talk at the hotel buffet (I)
Two people are at the breakfast buffet of the hotel they are staying at in NYC.
Ben spills his coffee over Lucy’s sweater and they engage in small talk.
Ben: Oh my gosh, I’m so sorry! I didn’t see you!
Lucy: Don’t worry, I’m fine.
Ben: That has never happened to me before. Please excuse my clumsiness.
Lucy: Never mind, it’s not a big deal.
Ben: I hope you are not off to a business meeting.
Lucy: No, no, I am actually spending a week here in New York for leisure.
It is the first time I’ve actually had time to do some sightseeing.
Ben: Sounds good. What are you going to see first? Times Square I guess?
Lucy: It might sound odd, but I would like to start with the High Line, something a little less noisy and crowded.
Ben: That’s a wonderful idea, I would totally recommend that!
